As Moët & Chandon returns to Formula 1 with a decade-long partnership, CEO Sibylle Scherer is steering the maison into a future where heritage meets modernity.

When Sibylle Scherer speaks about champagne, she doesn’t reach for grand metaphors or corporate phrases. Instead, she describes it with the ease of someone who grew up with it—because she did. “When you’re European, you almost grow up with champagne,” she says with a gentle laugh. Long before she was appointed President and CEO of Moët & Chandon in 2023, the world’s most recognisable champagne was already part of her cultural vocabulary. “Moët equals the category,” she adds. “From a young age, I knew about Moët & Chandon.”
