The cognac house is reinventing its shipments to the United States by returning to sailing. It has just announced the departure of its Neoliner Origin cargo ship loaded with Hennessy cognacs for the United States.

Objective: reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%.

On October 16, the cargo ship christened Neoliner Origin set sail from Saint-Nazaire for its maiden voyage to Baltimore. On board: twenty containers of Hennessy cognacs destined for the North American market. The result of a partnership initiated in 2020 between the cognac house and the French start-up Neoline , this project represents a key step in Hennessy's decarbonization strategy .
