Chinese actress Yang Mi has been named Prada‘s latest brand ambassador.

The 39-year-old has appeared in around 70 films and television series, her fame propelled by roles in “Chinese Paladin 3” in 2009 and “Eternal Love” in 2017, for example. In the announcement, Prada highlighted her “nuanced and realistically compelling performance” in this year’s epic drama “This Thriving Land,” which again sparked widespread discussion on Chinese social media.
